Metal-Enclosed Ring Main Unit

Ring main unit is a metal-enclosed electrical equipment. The term “ring” refers to the fact that each switchgear cabinet is capable of transmitting line power within a ring. It can be supplied from either the left or the right electrical end. If the left electrical end fails, the right electrical end will still function properly, ensuring that the switchgear operates properly. It's a way to not only maintain equipment uptime, but also ensure productivity.

DAYA's Metal-Enclosed Ring Main Units are used in 40.5kV power systems to connect and disconnect load currents, control and protect power systems and distribution lines. As a ring network power supply and terminal power supply equipment, the switchgear is widely used in substations, industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, residential neighborhoods, pre-installed substations and other places.

The main switch of the product usually adopts load switch, and it is mostly SF6 load switch. Transformer protection adopts the combination of LBS and fuse combinations, which is more cost-effective than the vacuum circuit breaker type switchgear, occupies a smaller area, and is easier to install and expand.

Metal-Enclosed Ring Main Unit has the advantages of simple installation, long service life, maintenance-free for life, safe and stable operation. In addition to the standard SF6 load switch, it can also be equipped with disconnecting switch, vacuum circuit breaker, grounding switch and so on.

Stationary Structure

The switchgear consists of bus compartments and a circuit breaker compartment that are hermetically pressure sealed with SF6 gas.

Product precautions:

1. Ambient air temperature: -15℃~+40℃;

2. Ambient humidity: it is necessary to ensure that the average daily relative humidity is not greater than 95%, while the average monthly relative humidity is not greater than 90%;

3. The horizontal altitude of the cabinet installation site should be less than or equal to 3000 meters;

4. Seismic: the seismic intensity is not more than 8 degrees;

5. Ambient air: it should not be obviously contaminated by corrosive or combustible gases, water vapor, etc.; 6. Obvious pollution;
